A Homespun Christmas...A Year in the Making

Wait a minute... What?? Didn't we just do that?!! But... we made it... the lists were crossed off, the presents wrapped, the parties were had...

I thought we got through the hustle and the bustle of the Christmas season! I shouldn't have to think about this again for another 11 1/2 months right? RIGHT??!!

Do you ever feel like that? Like Christmas-time is something to just get through??! When did Christmas turn into something that has to be endured?? Well my friends, I don't think that's what Christmas should be! That attitude is no longer welcome here...

Christmas is supposed to be about the birth of our Savior. It should be joyful and anticipated...

That's what I want this upcoming year...
I want to feel anticipation for Christmas, not dread for crying out loud!! I want to feel the JOY!  Wouldn't that be a better way to think anyway? Joy is SO much better than a feeling of dread! think so anyway...

I'll be posting on Mondays about my journey towards:  A Homespun Christmas... Maybe that means sewing a gift in January. Maybe it means trying a new cookie recipe in July... Who knows where this journey might lead.

I'm excited to find out! If you'd like to join in and share ideas that would be great! The more the merrier  and all that! If you just want to swing by and see what craziness I've been up to... well, that would be great too! Sooo... grab a cup of tea, coffee, or a glass of tea depending on when you've dropped in; grab the button if you're so inclined; and join the party!!!

If you're joining in, please link to your actual post and not just your blog... Thanks!! See you soon!
