Found Water...

I’ve had visitors (ok, mean-spirited bugs really) start visiting my garden spots… Luckily I can run them off without using chemicals. Dish soap will do the trick. Yesterday I had the thought that, “Duh… (yes, I really did hear that in my head) I use soapy water several times a day. In my sink. Why do I need “special” soapy water? Your right! I don’t…

So, I started washing and rinsing the dishes in metal bowls that I already own. No special equipment needed here. When my rinse bowl gets full or the wash bowl gets too cool for my liking I just pour them into my two gallon watering can. I get to spend little bits of my day hanging out in my garden and I’m saving water at the same time. Score!!

Love my galvanized watering can!!

  1. The old dish soap and water works, we have used it for years in the green house, and a lot on my ivy. I love your watering can as well.
Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day.

  2. Thanks for stopping by Jessica!!!
